TDP president Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu has congratulated the scientists and officials of the ISRO on the successful launching of PSLV-C 19 into orbit today from Sriharikota SHAR space centre.
In a congratulatory message released at NTR bhavan by the party Media chairman Sri LVSRK Prasad, the TDP president said the Risat-1 satellite launched into space was an outcome of one decades relentless effort by the space scientists.
The PSLV launched total 3 satellites (Resource Sat-2; Youth Sat and X-Sats) into space weighing 1404 kgs which will be placed at an altitude of 822km from earth.
Sri Naidu said the Resat-2 will be a great boon to the protection of environment and sectors like farming, cyclone and tsunami warning and also fishermen.
