TDP City President B.A.K. Parwez and district publicity secretary Akepogu Prabhakar criticised the leaders of the YSR Congress Party for criticising TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu.
In a statement, they said the YSRCP leaders, who were scared of the popularity of the TDP after the visit of Mr. Naidu were indulging in cheap criticism. Mr. Parwez said the YSRCP leaders should stop defending Bhuma Nagireddy whose links with anti-social elements were well-known.
