The TDP leaders of Warangal  demanded that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to  arrest YSRCP leader Y.S.Jaganmohan Reddy immediately for possessing disproportionate assets.

The TDP leaders - Kadiam Srihari, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, D.Sitakka and others wanted the State government to confiscate all his assets which were amassed through plundering of public funds.
Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday after the party workers meeting  they said just freezing the current accounts is not sufficient , the properties of Jagan also should be seized immediately .

Expressing his surprise at why the CBI let out Jaganmohan Reddy all these while naming him as accused number one, the TDP leader said the CBI found prima facie evidence that several companies were floated by him through illegal means and committing financial irregularities. But, he was allowed to roam freely.

The TDP leader dismissed the argument that freezing of accounts of newspaper and television channel amounted to attack on freedom of press. The media organisations were floated only to protect the crimes and CBI had every right and responsibility to probe any person or organisation.

“On several occasions, late Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy attacked newspapers and television channels. Was it not the attack on freedom of press,” he sought to know. The failure of CBI to arrest Jagan would give raise to many doubts among the public as the accused number two and other officials were jailed much earlier but not the accused number one.
